"We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to."

Megan Smith

Motherhood can be a wonderful time but it can also be a difficult process and adjustment. I am committed to helping new and experienced moms and dads struggling to support each other through this transition.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona. I am an Arizona native, born and raised in the Phoenix area. In my free time, I am usually found chasing after my three young children or training for a half-marathon with my husband.

I attended Northern Arizona University where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, then continued on to earn a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have professional training and experience which includes Infertility, Birth Trauma, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and Adjustment to Motherhood.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I find there is great success when life’s traumas are discovered and resolved. In addition, I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is essential to learning and managing emotions while effectively communicating with others

Leah Johnson

Hello! My name is Leah Johnson and I am currently completing my Masters degree in Counseling at Grand Canyon University! I want to be able to work with women’s health issues, children, and families; deal with stressful situations, life transitions, and be able to function better within their family unit.

received my Bachelors in Kinesiology and Psychology form the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas in 2015; where I was apart of the Artistic Swimming team for 4 years. Currently, I am a coach and masters artistic swimmer for Scottsdale Synchro here in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Over my10 year plus coaching career, I enjoy helping young athletes build self-esteem and self-confidence and overcome nerves to help them perform their best in order for them to achieve their goals. In my free time I enjoy swimming, cooking & baking, and going on bike rides with my boyfriend and 16 month old Bernedoodle puppy.
